Part of Wee County historyWelcome to the Clackmannan County Cricket Club Website
Clackmannan County Cricket Club was formed in 1868 and currently play their home games at The Arns, on the outskirts of Alloa. The club competes in two leagues, those being the East of Scotland Cricket Association and Strathmore & Perthshire Cricket Union. In ESCA, Clackmannan County currently put out two teams. The 1st XI currently competes in Division 1 whilst the 2nd XI compete in Division 7. A Sunday team named the Alloa XI, plays in the Strathmore & Perthshire league and currently compete in Division 2 - South Group. The Sunday XI aims to give competitive cricket to younger or less experienced players. New members and groups interested in learning this sport, as well as new friends, are always welcome to our club that has a tradition of over one hundred and fifty years. Social only memberships are available and we are also open to collaborations, charity events, and other ways of participating in supporting our community as well as people interested in the sport. |
